A special collaboration between two prominent performing bodies in Israel’s Baroque music scene. The Jerusalem Vocal Consort specializes in the performance of polyphonic ancient music, and the Nari Baroque Ensemble specializes in performing on historical instruments and applying a dramatic-narrative approach to chamber music.

In the program: The oratorio ‘Regina Esther’ by Giacomo Carissimi with inserted motets and passages of psalms, similar to the original performance of the oratorio in Rome of the 17th century, and with Lutheran hymns by Heinrich Schütz, and French liturgy by Michel Richard Delalande and Henri Dumont.
