Thursday, March 12 – The Notebook of Life: Musical Stories

The “Notebook of Life” is filled with chapters—moments of joy and sorrow, longing and hope, love and loss. The great composers took these chapters and translated them into the universal language of music.

This concert presents various chapters from the human experience:

  • Hebrew Melodies recounting historical chapters of renewal in the Land of Israel.
  • Bach capturing nostalgic moments at a ball.
  • Schubert in his deep and melancholic state.
  • Chopin in his most turbulent forms.
  • Debussy painting light, colorful emotions onto a canvas of sound.

The violin, cello, and piano serve as distinct voices telling these stories—sometimes in dialogue, sometimes in an intimate monologue, and sometimes in a shared conversation that creates perfect harmony.
