"Chlil Bagalil" is a unique musical project that brings together young cellists from all over the country for a collaborative playing experience in a supportive and empowering environment.
The project provides young cellists with tools for personal growth through playing in small groups, performing in a cello orchestra, participating in master classes with the best instructors in Israel, and engaging in workshops about topics such as rhythm, improvisation, conducting, and yoga. The project emphasizes listening, expression, chamber music playing, and strengthening each participant's professional abilities.
The repertoire performed includes compositions and arrangements written specifically for this project, alongside works from various musical periods. The teaching staff includes senior instructors as well as young graduates at the beginning of their careers. The courses, which have been held since 2011, are suitable for cellists of a wide range of ages and abilities, with personalized attention given to each participant.
