Noga Barlev – Violin
Irina Zheleznova – Piano

Together with pianist Irina Zheleznova, Noga will perform a program featuring repertoire for solo violin and violin and piano, with works by Bach, Mozart, Kreisler, Franck, and more.

Noga Barlev (b. 2007), born in Beit Itzhak, Israel, is a young Israeli violinist who grew up and developed musically in Israel and is now continuing her professional path abroad as a Dean’s Scholar at the New England Conservatory in Boston, where she studies with the esteemed violinist Professor Miriam Fried. She is a graduate of the Israel Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv, where she studied with Mrs. Ludmila Feldman and Mrs. Delia Jacob, and an alumna of the Jerusalem Music Center’s Programs for Gifted String Players and the Keshet Eilon International Master course.

Noga is also an alumna of the prestigious Perlman Music Program Summer Music School in New York, having begun her studies at the age of 10 in the Perlman Genesis Program in Israel. She has appeared as a soloist and as a chamber musician in leading concert halls throughout Israel and has participated in outreach concerts with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.

A finalist, prizewinner, and top scholarship recipient, Noga has received awards and support from the A. Grumiaux International Violin Competition, Keshet Eran, the America–Israel Cultural Foundation, the Ronen Foundation, Zefunot Tarbut, Rachel Mishori and Leon Kopler. Noga performs on a 1780 Storioni violin, generously loaned by Yehuda Zisapel and the Rad-Bynet Foundation.
