Ancient Songs in a Contemporary Setting

Tal Ganor, soprano | Yuval Vilner, electric guitar & arrangements

Omri Blau, vibraphone | Gali Knaani, cello

Dolo Rosa is a cross-genre ensemble that blurs the boundaries of time and style. Founded by singer Tal Ganor and guitarist Yuval Vilner, the ensemble offers an original, contemporary interpretation of a wide-ranging repertoire—from the Baroque era to popular music. Their unique arrangements sit at the intersection of classical music and indie-folk.

The program features ancient songs by John Dowland and Barbara Strozzi from the royal courts of Europe, anonymous folk songs and ballads like “Down by the Salley Gardens,” and works by modern singer-songwriters such as Joni Mitchell and Yehudit Ravitz.
