Low Songs: Songs and Interludes on Love, Loss, and Hope by Oded Zehavi

Edna Prochnik – alto

Hagai Yodan – piano

Just before the new year begins, the Israel Music Institute invites you to “Before the Holidays” – a day of performances entirely dedicated to Israeli music.

Songs and interludes by Oded Zehavi, composed after October 7th. The compositions are set to texts dealing with grief, loss, and devastation, but also with the hope and renewal we all yearn for. The songs will be performed by Edna Prochnik, one of the leading alto singers who regularly performs at opera houses in Europe, and the gifted pianist Hagai Yodan.
