This is the third year of the “Ani Kol” project, which serves as a home for contemporary vocal creation in Hebrew.
Each year, new works by composers are selected through an open call. These pieces explore the human voice through diverse means, embarking on a textual, musical, and emotional journey.
The concert will be performed in collaboration with various ensembles, all placing the human voice at the center:
The Jerusalem Chamber Choir, the “Ani Kol” Octet, various chamber ensembles, as well as solo vocalists — each offering their own interpretation of the work and allowing a wide range of styles and voices to be expressed.
The project is led by Rotem Kidron, conductor and soprano, and Itay Argov, composer.
The concert is supported by the Israel Music Institute, the Israel Composers’ League, the Jerusalem Municipality, and the Ministry of Culture.
