An international festival of contemporary chamber music
The festival was founded in 2008 and every year takes place in concert spaces across Tel Aviv. The festival presents to the listeners works and composers that, for the most part, have never been heard on stages in Israel. Names such as Helmut Lachenmann, Salvatore Sciarrino, Brian Ferneyhough, Chaya Czernowin, Georges Aperghis and Pierluigi Billone were among the composers at the center of the programs. Every year, in parallel with the festival, a summer course is held for selected candidate composers from around the world.

In 2021, on July 2-9, the festival will take place at a number of sites: Annette Studio, Chelouche Gallery, Goethe-Institut Israel, and HaTeiva.

The festival will have 13 concerts and six days of a symposium in collaboration with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The program itself will have five premieres for Israeli composers and of course a contemporary repertoire. It will host ensembles from Israel, the United Kingdom, the United States, Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Belgium.
