The oud player and composer, Erez Nataf, and his Jerusalem ensemble, renew and update rare and well-known piyyutim of the sacred songs of the Jews of Tunisia, as Nataf heard them from his grandfather and great-grandfather. Nataf combined these piyyutim in his previous projects, and he now presents his unique interpretations of these rare piyyutim in a special and festive show, with rhythmic flavors of contemporary Israeli music. In addition, the ensemble performs world music, spiced with Jewish music and influences from all over the Near East with an emphasis on North Africa.
