Thousands of Ladino songs have remained unknown and unheard for generations. Following many years of teaching and passing on the tradition of Ladino singing and the Middle Eastern modal system that preserves its authentic sound, Esti Kenan Ofri formed a research group that evolved into a unique women’s a cappella ensemble.

The ensemble breathes new life into Ladino songs originating from different regions across the world, reflecting the rich and diverse cultural tapestry of daily life and emotion.
