Yehezkel Braun (Germany–Israel, 1922–2014), one of Israel’s greatest composers.
Song of Songs is considered one of the pinnacles of Braun’s oeuvre. Selected texts from the biblical scroll were set by Braun in a sublime and breathtaking a cappella work.
Frank Martin (Switzerland, 1890–1974), one of the most prominent composers of the 20th century.
The Mass for Double Choir is regarded as one of the most important and moving works written for choir and is performed frequently around the world.
