Atar Trio joins with guest singer Ofer Callaf for a concert dedicated to Leah Goldberg and her art.
Program:
• Song collections with new compositions alongside chamber arrangements by Ofer Shelley to the texts of one of the great poets of Hebrew culture.
• Atar Trio’s conventional repertoire of works by Béla Bartók, Chaim Alexander, Marc Lavry, and others.
• Michael Wolpe’s song cycle “A Stroll Around the Village”, a work that was composed specially for this project that illustrates three timestamps from Leah Goldberg’s life.
• Songs by Moshe Wilensky, Ḥayim Barḳani, Yoni Rechter, Alex Wasserman, Berry Sakharof, Dafna Eilat, Eran El-Bar, and Rivka Gwily.
