Ladino songs have traveled through different cultures. The texts from 15th-century Spain were preserved, but also underwent changes and adjustments, and there was a lot of creative freedom in women’s poetry to adapt its content to life’s needs.
The performance includes songs arranged by Esti Kenan Ofri for an a cappella ensemble, as well as songs accompanied by musical instruments.
