Elena Evtushenko – soprano

Dmitry Krutogolovy – piano

A Venetian night in the heart of Tel Aviv. For one chamber evening, Studio Annette is transformed into Venice after dark: a small, intimate hall where every note is heard up close and every breath of the singer reaches the audience.

Soprano Elena Evtushenko, joined by virtuoso pianist Dmitry Krutogolovy, brings to the stage opera’s great heroines: passionate Amelia from Un ballo in maschera, tragic Leonora from La forza del destino, tender Liù from Turandot, proud Aida, dramatic Tosca, sensual Manon, Elena from I vespri siciliani and the Countess from Le nozze di Figaro. Each reveals her own world of love, pain, jealousy, sacrifice and hope.

Alongside the arias, brilliant piano works by Liszt, Chopin, Debussy, Satie and Michel Camilo are heard. The piano is not merely an accompanist but an equal second voice, creating striking contrasts between the emotional depth of opera and the brilliance of instrumental artistry.

The evening unfolds as a single nocturnal journey in two parts with an intermission, approx. 90 minutes in total: the pieces flow into one another and the music itself tells the story, from Verdi’s grand drama to the refined lyricism of Puccini and Mozart.
