José Antonio Carrillo de Mora – “El Fyty” was born in Triana, the iconic Seville neighborhood known as the birthplace of flamenco. It was there that he developed a powerful technique rooted in pure tradition, fused with a raw, authentic street sensibility. His distinct playing style has led to collaborations with leading flamenco figures on prestigious stages worldwide, as well as work as a guitarist and composer for the María Pagés company, performing in renowned theaters across the globe.
In Israel, he joined forces with Orian Livnat, a promising young pianist, graduate of the Thelma Yellin jazz department, and an IDF Outstanding Musician.
The show bridges original flamenco with jazz, blending compás and swing into a refined fusion.
